Well the transition to WordPress from MovableType has gone pretty smoothly. I am very happy with the results and am liking the way that the site looks, I hope that you do too. I have had to make some major changes to the way the site was structured from when is was driven by MT, although this has broken most of the older incoming links due to new peramlinks, I think that it was a small price to pay to get things in order.

Tags have been added to the site, and with a new search facility and archives page you should be able to find things a bit easier than before. You will also notice the addition of linking to the very popular sites Digg and Del.icio.us.

Now that I am Minted, I can now keep a better eye on what people like on my site and where they go. I have also been reading up on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) from Paul Stamatiou and others to get the most out of incoming traffic. It would seem that I have already employed most of the recommendations, so here’s hoping..

Anyway, I have some exciting things planned for nechbi.com in the coming weeks and months. One to watch out for soon is some giveaways, all I can say at the moment is watch this space..
